Takis Kouretsidis works for the Universal Music Group since 2007. As Finance Director he managed the Digital Business of Germany, Austria and Switzerland for more than a decade. From the beginning of his career, he combined his educational background in econometrics and his visionary thinking in terms of music consumption to drive digital strategy and innovation. He has been appointed as Senior Director of Data Analytics within the new created unit ‘Marketing Labs’, effective since January 2018. With his team of data scientists he produces actionable insights from large sets of data and develops tools, scalable solutions and predictions of key metrics to serve the needs of different stakeholders and thereby to optimally position the incredible roster of UMG artists to music fans.
