Pourloukakis Alexandros was born in 1997 in Ptolemaida, Northwest Greece. He made his first steps in music at the age of 7, when he started piano lessons. He studied at State Music High School of Ptolemaida and he continued his studies at University Of Macedonia, School of Human, Social Studies and Arts, Department of Music Science and Art specialized in Orchestral Conducting with Professor Georgios Vranos. He has conducted the University of Macedonia Symphony Orchestra and Choir in many concerts at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Archaeological Museum and Museum of Byzantine Culture of Thessaloniki and Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra in workshop ‘’Young Greek Conductors directing works by young Greek composers’’.
He has been assistant conductor of Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki with which he has participated in many concerts and opera productions in Greece and Europe. He attended master-classes as an active member with Professor Georg Sandman and Thessaloniki State Conservatory Symphony Orchestra and with Michalis Economou and Athens City Symphony Orchestra.
